Peter was crucified..on Vatican Hill "Thou shalt not kill" does not apply to murder of one's own kind only, but to all living beings; and this Commandment was inscribed in the human breast long before it was proclaimed from Sinai. ~Leo Tolstoy You have heard that it was said, "You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy." But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? ..Immanuel ,The Christ (Sermon Of The Mount) “WHAT YOU DO TO OTHERS YOU DO TO YOURSELF FOR THAT IS THE LAW..AND THE PROFIT" ..) Wow it's so cool that two people amongst the 20+ billion that have lived on this planet over the last few centuries look alike. |

People actually remarked on it and asked for pictures. It was uncanny. 'It seemed to me,' said Wonko the Sane, 'that any civilization that had so far lost its head as to need to include a set of detailed instructions for use in a packet of toothpicks, was no longer a civilization in which I could live and stay sane.' |

As his grandparents came from the area in Italy where this was painted, may be a relative. That's what I thought..still, very cool. Makes me wonder where my double is if there is one. ..."The soul is dyed the color of its thoughts. Think only on those things that are in line with your principles and can bear the light of day. I will make the coincidence a little bit "smaller". Take all people visiting galleries that have camera (or friends with camera) and posting their pictures anywhere online (or with friend doing that). Take all paintings these people could visit and take picture of them. Take all days this situation could happen. And check results. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 15022013 11/14/2012 05:40 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | To bad it is unknown painter and unknown man in the painting: "The unidentified man in this portrait wears civilian clothes along with a mail shirt; one hand rests on a gauntlet specifically designed for grabbing the blades of swords in duels. The costly hilts of his rapier (sword) and matching dagger, which the artist has depicted here with great care, compete with his face for the viewer's attention." Then one day, I walked into the post office and there at a service table, was someone who looked just like me. I could only see them from the side, and crept up on them in absolute disbelief. It totally freaked me out. Watched the person leave and stood there with my mouth gaping open. |

There is something horribly disturbing about seeing someone else who appears to be you however. |
