I have more than one doppelgänger! I saw a school class picture of another school when I was about 10. There was a girl the spitting image of me. Also there's a country house here called pollok house. There's a painting there of the girl that lived there well over a hundred years ago. My mum says I'm her double.

About 8 years ago I kept meeting people in pubs who would call me angie and chat to me like they knew me. When I told them my name was Emily they would freak saying how much I looked like this angie. Even he cousin was gobsmacked! I went to this angie place of work and turns out she was mistaken for me a lot too. We were face to face with a wee crowd around us. I must admit it was uncanny. She looked just like me only older! And we disliked each other immediately! Don't know why! I met her son once. He said I looked like her but prettier. That was nice.

Just last week the local shopkeeper was telling me he saw my double on holiday. Said it freaked him out!

Weird!

Now here is an interesting doppelganger story: Twins keep getting told they are seen in different suburbs around town when they weren't there. Turns out that they were actually triplets: two only were adopted to the same family and no one knew the third existed!
