Man finds Doppelganger in painting while strolling through museum.

This is no joke:I found a doppelganger for Vanessa Redgrave..It was in the church leaflet two weeks ago..a female saint XIX century with some Germanic surname..wish I had kept it..it wasnt similar it was exactly the same face!

Wow it's so cool that two people amongst the 20+ billion that have lived on this planet over the last few centuries look alike.

no, not really. but one was featured in a painting, and the other one happened to go to the place where that painting was and walk right by the painting. the coincidence of the while thing is more than you make it out to be. but then again, you are probably a mindless idiot that cannot find interest or feel curiosity for anything more than your PS3, most likely.

I wasn't expecting it to look 100% accurate, that is a strange coincidence.

As his grandparents came from the area in Italy where this was painted, may be a relative.

I once found a roman bust in a museum that looked exactly like me. People actually remarked on it and asked for pictures. It was uncanny.

That's what I thought..still, very cool. Makes me wonder where my double is if there is one.

I will make the coincidence a little bit "smaller". Take all people visiting galleries that have camera (or friends with camera) and posting their pictures anywhere online (or with friend doing that). Take all paintings these people could visit and take picture of them. Take all days this situation could happen. And check results.

I didn't think much of the doppelganger stuff until people kept saying they me different places that I wasn't. Then one day, I walked into the post office and there at a service table, was someone who looked just like me. I could only see them from the side, and crept up on them in absolute disbelief. It totally freaked me out. Watched the person leave and stood there with my mouth gaping open.

I was going to go up and say something, then it was like - what was I going to say? Hey - do you uh, notice anything ...odd? No, I decided to let it be. There is something horribly disturbing about seeing someone else who appears to be you however.
