BBC CEO leaves after 50 days with a FULL YEARS SALARY To say I am angry is one HELL of an understatement. Quoting: Physicist This guy holds down his job for 50-odd days and leaves with a YEARS FULL SALARY (£450,000 !!). Apparently, he was only 'entitled' to six months lol. Well, I for one am not sitting back and letting these M*F*'s sh*t on me any more. I am NOT going to pay when the next bill arrives. I may have to unplug my TV and watch stuff on the web instead. (They can imprison you for not paying a fine if you watch TV without a licence here in the UK.. ) On top of that, the BBC has gone totally downhill over the last decade or so. It's either tabloid news, navel-gazing over the latest BBC scandal (Jimmy, Lord McAlpine are just the latest) and basically all they DO is read out one-liners from a Reuters of AP terminal. Absolute bullsh*t.. Who's with me? Oh, and by the way.. Remember Climategate? Last month Guido reported that the BBC were refusing to respond to a Freedom of Information request asking for the names of scientists who attended the now infamous climate change seminar in 2006, that was convened to decide BBC climate change policy. The BBC Trust admitted that the evidence given at the seminar led to an unprecedented editorial decision to no longer give equal airtime to opponents of the climate change . At the time Guido wondered why the BBC was spending a six-figure sum to keep the names of the specialists who dictated their editorial policy secret? So who was there? Well if the BBC had their way we would never know, they are still trying to fight the publication of this list, however what is believed to be the complete who’s who has now been acquired by legitimate sleuthing by Maurizio Morabito: Original article at Namaste Publishing [link to www.namastepublishing.co.uk] It might be something like, they had promised not to drop the names of those who were there. I wouldn't mind betting the person from the US embassy is not that happy to be named, as the US is very anti Global warming. Having said that, I'm not to happy about all this either. How on earth can you work for 50 days and pick up a whole years wages. I've never had a salary type of pay so do not know how that works, but I would have assumed that they stop if you stop work, or at least in the month that you stop work. |

Quoting: alexisj9 Usually, you either work your 'notice period' and get paid for that, plus any holiday accrued Year-To-Date, OR the employer gives you your notice pay and lets you go. Usually, you accrue notice at the rate of ONE WEEK NOTICE PER YEAR WORKED, so I left my job of 8 years this month. I had to work 8 weeks notice (I actually resigned in September). |

BBC CEO leaves after 50 days with a FULL YEARS SALARY Judging by what the guy in this video says, it sounds like the TV license may actually be illegal We live in a world where our life given rights are violated daily by those that make the laws You can only see Heaven and Hell when you're alive The TV doesn't entertain you, it distracts you from reality in the form of entertainment |

Things like computers and cell phones qualified because they could access BBC online. This was in response to people claiming they did not have televisions or had one but did not use it for watching "TV". |

BUT now, you only need the licence IF you watch live programmes. |

BBC CEO leaves after 50 days with a FULL YEARS SALARY Television, no matter what's on it, is the foremost psychological programming device ever invented. Subjects willingly buy them, flip them on, and get auditory and visual stimuli, along with a well-practiced emotional narrative, telling them exactly how they should feel about what they're watching. It. Is. Evil. Destroy yours today. Respect your mind enough to keep it free of the influence of those who've designed their tools specifically to wheedle into your mind. |
