Ireland's socialist movement has always been actually rather weak and overshadowed by nationalism, which has massively empowered this small nation to acheive great things, free from this sick scum who trash all the other nations around the Mediterranean.

i agree with this ^^ maybe the irish are smart enough, mature enough to realize that the spending party is over and tough times require tough decisions.
