Why bother "labeling" people here? How do you know that older souls prefer socialism? Since when is Libertarianism about "getting ahead"?... that is not what it is about. I am a Libertarian, not to get ahead, but because I love the idea of individual freedom and rights- no labels or groups, because we are INDIVIDUALS... we are all unique. That is the beauty of it.

That's pretty much exactly your mindset!And that's why I said the young soul resonates with Libertarianism. This ideology does demand that the one who sows shall be the one to harvest, which is very much a young soul ideology! And why wouldn't it be, young souls after all being such competent and busy little bees! Why shouldn't they get to keep what they create?
I'm not saying there's anything wrong about people thinking that way, I'm just saying it's
young soul thinking. Have fun with being a young soul while it lasts, you'll soon enough turn into a bleeding-heart mature soul, wishing to redistribute the fruit of the young souls' work to the poor and suffering. Nothing wrong with that either, in moderation, it just happens to be mature soul thinking.

In fact, I almost envy you guys, because you are still having so much fun exploring yourselves on this plane of existence! Being a jaded and grumpy old soul that can hardly be bothered to "put food on his family" isn't all it's cracked up to be.
Don't wish your youth away, physically or spiritually, it will be gone soon enough.
