Quoting: Mi'Kmaq I know this is the traditional interpretation, but what if it's not exactly right? Could it be happening in a different way then we expected it? Well Paul outright stated that the 2nd coming/rapture can't happen until a great falling away and the man of sin appears. I strongly believe that both the great falling away and antichrist will appear soon,and have to do with demons coming back and masquerading as aliens. The new age doctrine will probably be the one world religion,teaching all men that all religions are true but misinterpreted.They will even probably have the physical images of religious teachers of old like Jesus,Moses, Buddha,and Muhammad manifest in spiritual form to verify what the aliens say is true. But of course like the aliens they will merely be shape shifting evil spirits.I think the anti christ will be the one the new agers call maitreya or the world teacher.They claim that all these other mentioned religious teachers are secondary to the maitreya who is supposed to be the most enlightened entitiy of the new age doctrine. I tend to agree with this point of view. I do think a "great falling away" has happened/is happening now. Many churches do not preach the "hard" stuff of judgment, etc. for fear of losing their congregation, there are "churches" specifically for gays, which God sees as an abomination, there are churches who do not teach about hell, and claim there is no literal hell, things like that. I have been in churches who only want to tell everyone how much God loves them,and their sin is NOT a problem.....to me that is FALLING AWAY from the original message God sent that we are all sinners in need of His Son, Jesus Christ as our Savior. Yes, I too believe the falling away has been happening on a huge scale for sometime now. I also know the man of sin is already on the scene. Some think he is the POTUS, but I dont know that for sure. But, I do know that whoever it is will be revealed soon. A few months ago I was sitting on my porch asking the Lord how much longer and He said "Man of sin to be revealed" as in, that's up next on the agenda. It could be "O", I don't know. He didn't tell me who it was, just that he would be revealed soon. I really have a feeling that we're almost finished here, which frankly, scares the crap out of me because so many are not ready, they are asleep, and the majority of the world is in denial and hasn't accepted Jesus. Sad.
