Israel can't "lose" against Hamas. They have the ability to destroy Hamas, and every nation around them with the weapons they have. But that would draw utter world condemnation against them. And that may yet prove to be the case.

The PROOF that the cease fire was ONLY announced so Israel wipe out Hamas (and prob level Gaza in the process...but, hey this is war) after the cease fire will be broken.
