I have something of a philosophical logistics question... I'm watching the RT feed [link to rt.com] and it occurs to me to wonder: IS there enough fuel left in Gaza to make bulldozing the debris worth the effort? And do we care?

Precisely - Hamas target civilians, and have genocide in their godforsaken charter, aren't you surprised they are even recognized given those facts!

Personally I would leave, fighting over a shitty piece of land ruled by religious radicals is futile, no piece of inanimate dirt or shoebox structure (no matter where it is, or what it's worth), is worth losing one's life over. It's probably smarter to pack some food and go into an area where Israel indicated there wouldn't be fighting, than stick around. If you are lucky Israel will clear out the aggressors, the fighting will subside, and you can go back to your house and live in relative peace. Who in their right mind would want to stay and wait for the bombs, when they've been explicitly warned?

Hamas are obliged to tell their population that a certain area is unsafe, telling civilian population to leave for another part of town until fighting subsides. If this was not done by them after the warnings, it's complicit to using civilians as human shields, don't you see?

Makes sense to me, that if that area was targeted, there must have been a weapons cache or a rocket launcher there. Could it be that that's what they're looking for ? Get it before someone else does.... or hide the evidence ???
