Zilla, that WOULD be weird I agree. I still think it can't drag on that long especially since they tested David's sling and it was a good test today. (This may very well be the big FU because BO used Iron Dome as a wedge to get Israel to fall back. Raytheon developed David's sling and word is that Israel has more working knowledge of that one. We'll see, but if they are rushing the testing of that one just today, then they (Israel) is prepping fast and hard. I just can't see them waiting four weeks, but that's just me.

I would agree with you if this was new behavior on their part, but this is part of the cycle as same as the skirmishes with Hamas and the PLO every few years or what not. It seems O in some way has Bibi by the cojones and is not letting go. The sudden ceasefire could mean though that they have bigger fish that they intend to fry and did not want to commit all their forces to one area when they may very well be needed in others, so that operation was more than likely to give themselves some breathing room from that area of trouble at least for the short term.

It's honestly anyone's guess...I'm not guessing I'm just gonna take it as it comes I'm tired of being wrong all the time

Turkey, Israel held wartime talks

I bet in the same way morsi was told to be a good little terrorist or his funds will be cut and he can more or lesss do as he pleases in egypt.

I bet in the same way turkey was told they have to make nice with Israel, not publicly, mind you, but none the less or no patriots for turkey.

Unfortunately, they already have NATO's backing. The Netherlands is sending troops to Turkey to man the Dutch Patriot Missile system that will be shooting down Syrian rockets.

Incorrect. Barack Obama along with Turkey are now by default turning NATO into an anti-Israel club. Obama worked Morsi so that he will have dictator powers in exchange for Egypt being a PROXY militia for Obama.

in English, ships are generally referred to as "she" even if they're named, as is the Stennis, after a man.

All Navy and Space faring vessels are referred to as "She".

I think the talks between the two sealed the deal for the Patriots. The missile system may remain there long term according to this guy, and I agree.

In the short term the decision to deploy Patriot missiles must have been made with respect to Syria.

But this is a precautionary measure [that has just now been resorted to], taking into consideration the most recent developments in the region as a whole, not only in respect to Syria. There is nothing I can say in order to substantiate this, but it might also be another precautionary measure of medium and long-term contingency such as if Israel attacks Iran and Iran wishes to retaliate.

Western Europe is absolutely infested with muslims and I really dunno what will happen if the UK, France or Germany sent troops to help Israel in an eventual conflict...they might have an intifada on their hands at home !

As for Australia it has a very severe muslim problem as well and it's also a world away, there is not much they would be able to do in a war in the middle east. No offense there mate.

And of course all of this doesn't matter, if America is not on Israel's side if WW3 breaks out and all the major players like Russia, China, India enter the conflict...it's pretty much over ! So, Yes, I am very concerned with my brothers and sisters in Israel, after Hussein's reelection they've lost their big brother (USA).
