IDF special forces were moving around getting real time target info for the incoming airstrikes. These were probably 8 man teams placed days ago or inserted tonight under the cover of darkness from ships in the med. Whether it be by helo or small boat. They were moving through Gaza lazing targets for incoming bombing runs from F-16s. This is the only way to minimize civilian loses.

IDF mechanized divisions are not entering Gaza or are just on limited fronts. They are setting up defensive positions around Gaza and will move from there.
