The area between Egypt and Turkey has been referred to as PALESTINE since the 5th century, firstly by the Greeks.

From Hebrew it translates into English as Philistine and is used in the bible many many times.

The Byzantines referred to the Holy Land as Palaestina.

The area under the Caliphate was called Filastin.

You have read something very very wrong.What I read differs.

What does NOT differ is this :
-the jew religion (over 20 centuries ago-your 5th century is not the start of the life on the planet) was already hundred of years old.There were NO CHRISTIAN or MUSLIM religion.
-Jesus Christ disciples started the religion of CHRISTIANITY.
-Later on, some dude (you know who) started the religion of Islam.

Now, yes, the land between Egypt and Turkey was referred as Palestine, because of the Philistines, who were NOT palestinians, NOR jews.This is common knowledge.

If you take a map, quick, you will see that old Palestine was quite big...and you than will realize that it was a REGION (like Asia Minor, or Balkans) NOT A FCKING COUNTRY.
I specificaly say COUNTRY/NATION...read more carefully.

So, what do we have?

-a bunch or jews that have a religion older than christianism and islam (so, obviously, were living on that land - occupied by Roman Empire - land RULED by JEW KINGS);
-a bunch or arab muslims that call themselves palestinians, having a religion NEWER than even christianity;
-there was NEVER, in the whole human history, a PALESTINIAN KING/KINGDOM/COUNTRY/PEOPLE.

The first passports that were emited in Palestine were BRITISH.
The region was indeed conquered by lots of people, like greeks or perisians or ottomans or brits.
However, this does not mean that Palestine (as geographical REGION) was a country that belonged to "palestinians" or "jews".

What we surely know, and know no matter the religion, country , sex or affiliation one is, is that the PEOPLE that lived in the region of Palestine (and specificaly in Tyr area, Caanan) were NOT MUSLIM !!!

Russian President Vladimir Putin says his country will back Egyptian efforts to put an end to the Israeli aggression in the besieged Gaza Strip.


In a telephone conversation with Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi on Friday, Putin said Russia planned to support Cairo's efforts directed at normalizing the situation in the Palestinian territory, the Kremlin said in a statement.

The remarks come after Egypt’s Prime Minister Hisham Qandil visited the Gaza Strip on Friday, where he urged the world leaders to stop Tel Aviv’s attacks.

Qandil promised to intensify Egypt’s efforts to “stop this aggression and achieve a lasting truce."
