A small bit of humor in a tense crisis -

Israel government representative on Fox News just now, said (in response to Megyn Kelley saying "You are surrounded by Syria, Iran, Lebanon, all these countries which wish to attack you..how do you deal with all that?"

Reply: "It just goes to show that Moses was not a great navigator, landing us in this place with these borders, without oil!"

Good to see the Israeli's are still able to have a sense of humor in the face of these attacks.

Israeli rep. also states "All we are doing is to create quiet in Gaza and Israel. We withstood thousands of rockets from Gaza, gave back land, and this is what we end up with, so it is up to us, as a Democracy, to protect our citizens. We do not target civilians. We are going to eliminate Hamas's ability to wage war against Israel, and then hold talks with more moderate people in Palestine"

Israel is civilized and taking a moderate approach.

How long are they supposed to stand-by and be systematically bombarded without retaliation?

Israel has bombed an Iran-sponsored missile and munitions plant in the Sudan, as well.

This is a coordinated effort to stop the rockets and allow Israel to live in peace. You don't see Israel initiating rocket fire into any territory which has not fired upon them first, do you?

So Putin is gonna back Egypt in attempting to calm the situation? Hmm... me thinks it is to buy enough time for Iran to finish their nuke.

Think about it - any nuke has a unique signature, and if any Russian nukes were used it would eventually get out.

This way, an Iranian nuke is used on Israel and Putin can say "Aww too bad".

91,000 reservists...that is NOT for Gaza.This is for :
1) Hezbollah
2) Egypt
3) both if the above + Syria

You can't REALLY believe that REGULAR troops in south (about 45,000) PLUS the NAVY and Air force need an ADDITIONAL 91,000 troops for Gaza?
