What surprises me, is when the shells hit, the really don't burn anything, they just explode and shit falls down.... most explosions result in fires.

They are using AP(Armor Piercing) because they are targeting Hamas bunkers, fortified positions, and underground tunnels aswell as some storages/caches

Reuters had an amazing zoom on the action then. Dads and sons up on roofs trying to protect their homes.

When they target Infantry, they use HE (High Explosive) rounds because of the shock, shrapnel, and burns it produces.

Wall Street Journal claims use of both artillery strikes and air strikes.

"A video released by the Israeli Defense Force on Wednesday shows an air strike on Hamas in Gaza City that it says killed Ahmed Jabari, the commander of the Hamas military wing in Gaza. Israeli and Hamas officials confirmed Mr. Jabari was killed in the attack by the Israel Air Force."
