The Iranian's are out of the loop except as supply agents. The distance to Israel is far to great to try and use ground troops. They would be slaughtered well before they reached the battlefield. Once Israel moves against the resupply routes they are done. Don't forget they are more concerned about a huge western naval buildup on their door step then what happens to their supposed allies. They move those naval assets will drill them a new asshole. Assad will stay out he has his hands full at home. Notice the Tahir Sq protests number in the thousands unlike the Arab Spring ones. I don't think Morsi can risk a showdown with the Egyptian Military which really is only nominally under his control. That leaves Gaza and Lebanon on their own. Notice Hesbollah which signed the mutual defense pact has been holding back. My guess is that they know the score.
