the things go steadily towards widening conflict. The diplomatic efforts for ceasefire are futile. Should Israel continues with ground offensive Hamas is doomed unless someone helps it. That someone most likely is Hezbollah, before Syria and/or Iran. I don't know how long it will take for conflict to spread beyond borders, but don't forget also the fact we are in the last part of November 2012! There are only 33 days until Dec 21! That could matter a lot.
