I thought someone posted Sderot as the location of the Reuters cam. They were saying it would be easy to figure out where those military vehicles were situated for someone who knows the area and that Reuters should be careful about filming them like that...

I think a ground invasion would complicate things alot.
But a full out war in the ME depends on respon from the north and Hesbollah. And offcource Egypt stance when SHTF.
If something would happen in Sinai, with any military conflict between Egypt and Israel, we would have a full blow ME doom situation. Never forgett Iran running the show in the background.
I would give it a 30% chance for a full blown conflict.
But for the world economy and everything else, hope they solve it peacfully.

the ultimatum is for hamas to agree to israel's terms for a ceasefire, or face escalation; the rockets and IAF attacks continue in the meantime..

According to reports in Cairo, these are the conditions for a ceasefire set forth by Israel:

1. A lull for a period of more than 15 years.

2. An immediate cessation of arms smuggling and the transfer of weapons to Gaza.

3. Cessation of rocket fire on the part of all armed Palestinian factions and an end to attacks on soldiers near the Gaza border.

4. Israel has the right to hunt down terrorists in the event of an attack or if it obtains information on an imminent attack.

5. The Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt will remain open, but the crossings on the Gaza-Israel border will remain closed.

6. Egypt's politicians, headed by President Mohammed Morsi, will be the guarantors of any ceasefire agreement. Meaning, the agreement will be backed by Egypt's political echelon rather than by its security establishment.

I think we will se lots of these individuals doing stuff like that. Solo-style terrorist actions. Suicide attacks and shit is what will come for the Israelians inside Israel. It's just waiting for the first big "hit" like Hamas would call these "surprise" actions by their sleeping cells.

And with all these rockets from Iran getting launched from Gaza, and the Iron-dome system not intercepting them all it might as well happen that the Nuclear-plant of Israel gets hit. Imagine what that would mean?!?!

A full-out all-in regional war that could actually lead into what most of the doom-loving people here on GLP have been waiting for... World War III
