Basically the ceasefire terms are equal to what Israel stated it wanted to achieve from its offensive. So Hamass either submits or Israel will carry on and force them. He always told me that both sides were "mad as hatters" and wouldn't stop until they had destroyed each other. Smart man my grandfather. As a side note he was nearly killed by Jewish terrorists several times. Once by a grenade thrown into his armoured car and then when they found out that a 'potato merchant' across the road from their barracks was actually a cover for a tunnelling operation - they found a load of explosives with detonators etc all ready to blow right under their barracks - found it just in time. Its really weird to think that I very nearly never existed because of the same conflict that is still going on. Plonkers the lot of them. |
