No one wants to see bloodshed, but the U.N. will not help Israel, and passively supports anti-semitism (as does our "fearless leader, Mr. Obama).

The bloodshed is self-defense. Israel did not start this battle. The actions are in response to repeated rocket fire from north and south, and they have held their fire long enough.

In return, Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood guys from Egypt are now launching missiles by the dozen every hour.

Is Israel supposed to simply sit there and take hit after hit without striking back?

If Mexico were launching missiles across the border into Texas, what do you think the U.S. response would be?

Same as if someone came into your house with a gun (G-d forbid)..you have the obligation to defend your family, as Israel has the right and obligation to defend its people.

Israel was brutally attacked in '67 by two countries, nearly simultaneously...and kicked ass.

They took the Golan Heights to establish the buffer zone so there is no more "high ground" for their enemies to launch attacks from, and they took Gaza out of absolute necessity.

Every time Israel "gives back" land in an effort to create a lasting peace (at the demand of "world leaders" at the U.N.), the Palestinians and other similar peoples turn that land into open sewers and terrorist training camps, then blame Israel for not giving them MORE money!

Wise people see through the Arab/Palestinian propaganda.
