Don't know the answer, but Israel does not "rain fire" down on innocent Palestinians.

The Palestinians are sometimes killed because their terrorist leaders (cowards) build their missile and bomb-making factories in the middle of highly populated civilian areas.

The only way to eliminate them is to be as surgical as possible with Israel's missiles.

Did you see the video of the strike on the Hamas leader's car today? It was a very small, purpose-built missile which took out ONLY the car.

There may have been a scorch burn to the people around the vehicle, and that is truly sad, because like most of us, we go about our days not knowing what evil lurks in the car next to ours...but what must be done, must be done.

Hamas, on the other hand, deliberately targets civilians in order to create terror.

That is why Israel had to build bomb shelters for citizens in harm's way.

Do you see Hamas giving a crap about the civilians in their territories? No...they call them "martyrs", and when they aren't busy working hand-in-hand with the AP to doctor photos to create scenes of carnage that do not exist (see Operation Cast Lead photo scam perpetrated by the AP news service).

Hamas is VERY well funded, and they could build bomb shelters if they wanted to...however, they prefer to be the SOURCE of the terror, and do not care how many of the people around them die. That's why they are called "TERRORISTS".

I will never understand how red blooded Americans can so feverishly support a country they have never been to half a world away. Even if supporting said country endangers American security. No..it is Iran's leader, who believes he can bring the coming of the 12th mahdi by killing all Israelis and Americans.

Israel has the absolute right to defend herself against overt aggression (suicide vests, rockets from Gaza and Golan, etc..)

The latest round of targeted attacks is a direct response from Grad rockets launched against Israel, without provocation.

So, if the beast offends, cut off it's head...which is exactly what Israel did in that beautifully surgical strike on the moving vehicle containing the terrorist head of Hamas.

There has never, not once, been an Israeli use of force without provocation and bloodshed by terrorist elements first.

But back to the point: If Israel does create several smoking holes in the ground in Iran where their nuke facilities used to be, that is their right, when Iran's "president" has threatened to eliminate the State of Israel literally hundreds of times.

There comes a time when you have to start believing their rhetoric and take decisive action.

What is Israel supposed to do? Wait until Iran launches a nuke against them and then respond with what is left of their arsenal?

Israel is a very small country, and cannot afford to risk a nuclear attack.

They should never have to go to sleep at night wondering if tomorrow is the day Iran decides to wipe them from the earth in some sick agenda to bring about the "12th Mahdi".

Religious zealots in Iran are just that...zealots.

The will stop at nothing until they accomplish their goal...and they keep biding time and building more and more nuclear facilities, installing more and more centrifuges. Why? They don't need nuclear energy plants...they have more oil than they know what to do with, so that defeats their "we need energy for our homes" B.S. argument.

Yes...there may come a day when Israel attacks Iran, and I can honestly say that scares me...but are YOU going to stop Iran from trying to wipe-out Israel?

Is the US president going to do anything to help Israel? No...which is why Isreal's leaders know they are standing alone in a very cruel world.
