But actually you bring up an important & often overlooked point: the ECONOMY.

Historical Arab rejectionism; the all-encompassing Palestinian hostility in general, and Gaza terrorism & rockets in particuilar.... cost Israeli economy BILLIONS of dollars; Which is no small change for a small country without massive oil revenues.

It goes far beyond property values in Southwestern Israeli communities.

Israel has made the desert bloom in short period of time... while fighting off Arab armies & Islamic terrorism.... under Netanyahu stewardship its resilient economy even withstood the Great Recession, for the most part.

But make no mistake about it: rockets and other terror threats hurt Israeli economy even during peace-time. It's credit rating, it's corporate-risk rating, everything is presumably affected.

And that's why Gaza rocket fire must STOP. Period. Or else.
