I am not going thru entire history of Romania and WW2, but shortly put, Romania was neutral at start, than Nazi Germany advanced UNBATED until they OCCUPIED us and force to fight on their side. In 1943, we had an isurection and changed sides, gihting against Germany...that because Russia was anvaced UNBATED. Romania was against Germany in WW1, and would have been against in WW2 from start...but we weren't in the position to do that, mainly because France and Britain could not supported us at the beginning. So, no we did not fought for the Nazis...we were FORCED to do that. recollector |
