Well no, because the US gives billions in military aid to Israel, and using your rationale that would mean that the US is waging war on the Palestinians, and in the past, half of the Middle East.

I really don't see the point in a ground incursion. Israel should just continue bombing 24 hours a day until they're satisfied that security for Israel has been restored.

To bad that they have no power whatsoever and are used by Hamas as human shields and propaganda bodies (dead preferabily).
