wow................ live bombs going off now
Quoting: ~JustMe~ Please don't call them bombs. It is offensive to military men such as myself, they are Shells  Are they being shelled or are these JDAMS's? I would've have thought they'd use JDAMs instead of artillery? If so, then wouldn't the term "bomb" apply to a JDAM...since it is not much more than a smart bomb?  Look at youtube and find a JDAM impact video and you tell me if that's what they're using. I know at least some of what were seeing is from air strikes. Wall Street Journal claims use of both artillery strikes and air strikes. "A video released by the Israeli Defense Force on Wednesday shows an air strike on Hamas in Gaza City that it says killed Ahmed Jabari, the commander of the Hamas military wing in Gaza. Israeli and Hamas officials confirmed Mr. Jabari was killed in the attack by the Israel Air Force." [ link to online.wsj.com]
