This is getting quite confusing. News and post are saying completely opposite claims. Some are saying possible cease fire and others are saying ground invasion happening soon.

Listen. It's not up to Netanyahu. If Israel keeps getting hit, then he MUST defend it. There is no other option. If more Israelis die, and he does nothing, Israel will turn into Syria. They know this, and they won't let that happen. It's not up to him, his position is reactionary, this is why he won't back down, he doesn't have that luxury. His meetings to discuss cease-fires are there to please the West and have them feel that Israel isn't completely off the chain.

If you ever wonder why it takes 2-4 days before the condemnations start, it's because Israel actually had the green light from the rest of the world, including the Muslims if you can wrap you head around that one! Obama is no friend to Israel.
She is standing completely alone. Im not even going to try and predict what will happen because the situation is too volatile to predict and we aren't privy to the intelligence info these governments are.
I am wondering though what exactly Israel has accomplished if she stops now. We've seen this pattern a million times before.

Can't see it playing out like this. Israel knows if they back down this time then its over for them. They can't keep tolerating constant attacks. They need to finish this for once, otherwise it'll be a constant back and forth like it's been for years until Iran can finally attack.
