White House spokesman Tommy Vietor stated, "The president recognizes the threat missiles and rockets fired by Hamas and Hezbollah pose to Israelis, and has therefore decided to seek funding from Congress to support the production of Israel's short range rocket defense system called Iron Dome." This would be the first direct U.S. investment in the project.[21]" Quoting: Nexus News [link to en.wikipedia.org] Wow, I did not expect this from Obama..... Something to understand with the costs here. The missiles have already been built, thousands in storage. Everytime they fire one they dont loose 90,000, that is the valuation of the weapons. True, but they need to replenish their supply so technically they spent that much. Possibly however the armament company will not be charging the state of Israel 90,000 for each rocket. Having friends that work in the industry its a complicated business but Im certain its not costing them half of whats been suggested. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 27997356 United States 11/18/2012 11:24 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Israel does, they send their women and children and even men who do not actively serve to bomb shelters. Hamas hide in the homes of women, children, and men who do not actively serve in their terrorist organization and when Israel takes them out of course there is collateral damage. Hamas can sure talk the talk but they do not have the guts to walk the walk. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4135612 Gaza is one of the most densely populated places on earth. Hamas cannot find space to build bomb shelters. They cannot aquire the real estate for a buffer zone between their families and their war. This does not make those men "cowards" and it does not make the deaths of children and civilian women and elderly "collateral damage". Israel is killing innocent civilians. They know what they are doing. They accept what they are doing. Perhaps the believe non Jews or at least Arab non Jews are subhuman. Like vermin. Like Hitler referred to his scapegoats. May their own children escape the suffering of their parents. Poor little Israeli children with child murderers for parents. |

Thanks for sharing.. Music currently playing is awesome! Yes, I have it playing in the background, too. I wish I could understand the announcements though, unfortunately she is not speaking in English. However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given methe task of testifying to the good news of Gods grace. Acts 20:24 "This man really is the Savior of the world!" John 4:42 Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen.
