Tactically, IDF has night superiority. So the best time for ops is early AM.
Quoting: Taking Suggestions why would there be a sifference between the day and night. More like the IDF likes to hide what's really going on. The strikes from Gaza are ordinance that need to be launched during daylight. Also, if they did launch at night they are sitting ducks as they have just given up their location! i'm not talking about Hamas. besided if Hamas isn't launching any rockets at night, why is Israel? It gives IDF a strategic advantage to launch at night! Why would IDF launch during the day when their assets would be more at risk?
