Ceasefires have worked. Otherwise they wouldnt be negotiated. Granted it seems they are only a rest between battles. A peace plan agreement be better. Unfortunately Israeli leaders that almost successfully achieve such a thing have a nasty habit of being killed. Same thing happens inside Palestinian politics...
