Yea, I think its drones to, and the effect would be to keep their heads down and complicate their movements...during the Korean War a psychological tool used was "Washing Machine Charlie", a two engine prop bomber that would over fly US troops during the night drop a bomb or two but the main effect was to keep the troops awake and off balance.
