1627: An Israeli official has refused to confirm to the BBC that a ceasefire is imminent. At this stage, the official says, Israel will continue its operation until the rocket fire stops; and the diplomatic track and military operation will continue in parallel. [ link to www.bbc.co.uk] Sounds like hawk stance for domestic consumption, "We showed 'em!". When they both stop nobody will really know who fired the last shot...
