And it's not just the Military aid, which actually is negligible considering that 3/4 of it is contractually obligated to be spent inside the US thus crating jobs..... However, US Veto in UN Security Council alone is worth its weight in gold-encrusted, alien-origin tungstein-platinum! And then there is the INTANGIBLY/SYMBOLIC benefits Israel gets by mere associationn with world's only superpowr, as well as the explicit CREDIT GUARANTEE US has provided Israel during difficult economic times in the past.....

3) Here's another thing: Israelis like all "Westerners" swing wildly from one extreme to the other. First they are hibernating for 20 years while Shimon Peres, Aharon Barak, Doris Beinish, Ehud Olmert and other "Peaceniks" all but hi-jacked the country! THEN, when all those fallacious, borderline treasonous Left-wing policies including bringin Arafat's gang back, the surrender of South Lebanon & Gaza in exchange for nothing....well, only when 1000 rockets are raining on their heads to Israel public suddenly WAKE-UP and start looking for scape-goats!

And since Left-wingers are so shameless they will never admit their errors and instead double-down on their Lala Land promises ------ who else is there for Israelis to knee-jerk blame? Oh yes, Benjamin Netanyahu. Cuz, you see, he's not cool or compliant enough for the hoity-toity circles in Tel Aviv, Washington DC, London, Paris or Brussels. 4) It's NOT about Iron Dome (blackmail by Obama). Iron Dome is Iasraeli technology. Sure America's foreign military assistence goes a long way toward helping complete it in record-short period of time... but really, Israel's annual Military budget is like 50 billion shekels, so worst comes the worst, Israel can manage without American.

No the issue is elsewhere: as I mentioned in my previous 18-point post, Bibi is playing a very SOPHISTICATED 3-D Chess game. Obama's wishes is only a part of the puzzle, however important. In fact, Bibi is USING Obama as a shield in setting up a cease-fire & gaining some measure of supervision over those infernal smuggling tunnels via Obama's proxy, Morsi.

5) Now regarding Israel's "bleak" future.... please put down Thomas Friedman and Rashid Khalidi. Wishful thinking. I am not saying Israel is not facing major challenges, but really how of little faith be thee? LOL, did Jews give up when Germans bombed Pearl Habour- - or was it the other way around? Did Jews give up during the 2,000 year Exile, massacres, pogroms, mass-rape and forced assimilation?
