Anonymous Coward User ID: 28271115 United States 11/22/2012 09:06 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's all right in front of you, and most of you don't even see it. Its not a blatant win or lose for Israel, but a very interesting strategy in a war that hasn't ended. Quoting: RampantOctopuss Think about it: why would Israel suddenly, even just after a terrorist bombing in Tel Aviv, give in to cease-fire and even some of Hamas' demands? Why? When he amassed an army on the borders of Gaza ready to deploy? Most of the world sees Palestine/Gaza strip as a suppressed Arab state being bullied by big bad Israel, as per Hamas propaganda. We all know that this isn't the case and people need to understand that the Arab world refuses to accept the state of Israel, simply because they are a JEWISH state. Now think about Israel's position. They are literally surrounded by people who hate them. Yes, 4 IDF soldiers were merely injured next to the 104, give or take, Palestinians that were killed as a result of airstrikes, but the Arabic nations, as a majority, wish and have declared publically that their goal is to wipe Israel and the Jewish people from the face of the earth. Unfortunately for them, attempting to pick a fight with a people who, since the fall of the Kingdom of Israel at the hands of the Romans, have been bullied for a couple thousand years, it's only natural that they are going to start pushing back. Hence, the week long conflict we just witnessed. Now here's my point: What Netanyahu did, was probably the single greatest, and most clever, PR move in recent history. Instead of continuing on and letting the campaign further commence, he suddenly agreed to cease-fire and put the ball entirely, 100% in the Hamas/Arab people's court. Israel and Hamas were both under pressure from the United Nations and the Arab states, as you all know, to have a cease-fire. But Israel, being with a better prepared military, was made out to be the heavy. Nothing Netanyahu could've said or done would've justified further actions of Israel against Hamas in a lot of peoples' eyes. So, he needed a fail-safe. One that, if needed to be used, would let the UN and the world powers completely see what Israel has been going through and has had to deal with for decades. An "I told you so" kind of thing. He let the Arab's have their way. If Hamas/Palestine, Hezbollah, etc break this truce, Israel can say, "We've been reasonable, didn't invade when we could've, agreed to cease-fire and gave them what they wanted. But they broke the rules AGAIN." In this, Israel will, obviously, not only be justified, but they will be backed up to wage war with whomever breaks this cease-fire. And then we shall see who comes in from behind the scenes in the Arab world to fight against Israel with the instigators. It could be days, weeks, months or years even. But, it will be interesting. Hamas just got a huge EGO BOOST with this "victory". They'll break it, they're feeling invincible. LOL Those savages lack discipline and self control. It's just a matter of time... They ARE invincible. |

Quoting: NDH Gov't Press Office ‏@GPOIsrael Report: Iran missile technology sent to Gaza - AP [link to buff.ly] #Iran #Palestinians #Israel As I've said before, this is just a time-out for Hamas to catch their breath and resupply from Iran...then it's game on again ! That's what I was worried about subzero... I've already seen stuff in the media about Iranian ships loading as we speak. I really hope that the border with Egypt doesn't open up without inspections. I know your leadership is normally really good at protecting itself, but what are they thinking? Honestly, I can't believe some of the decision making. Are people you know pissed? People in Israel are not happy. The only way Bibi can get away with this is if he joins forces with the right-wing parties so that people have no choice between the Left and Bibi. I've seen people talking about voting left just to topple him. (won't happen) Israel has refused to lift the blockade for years. Why would an operation started by Israel with the upper hand, taking out a Hamas leader by surprise, end in giving in to an untouchable Israeli condition? Either Hilary stopped Bibi in his tracks threatening to kill Iron Dome, or this is a move of deception. The thing is the Sinai is to a certain extent ungovernable, and the border between Sinai and Gaza is a managed by smugglers. Maybe the reason Egypt's Morsi played such a prominent role and why Israel "gave in" was this main issue of unmanaged trade is now going to be addressed, re the US will throw money at it and Morsi will take it to secure the border. |

Zef User ID: 21649935 United States 11/22/2012 09:23 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | yea in Islam, it is a religious traditon to pray and invoke God during rain time, because God said rain is a blessing coming from Him. so indeed, rain following a "victory" after days and days without a raindrop is somewhat a clear sign that God is on Palestinian side for now. i'll quote a verse detailing this point of view : S5.V64 And the Jews say, "The hand of Allah is chained." Chained are their hands, and cursed are they for what they say. Rather, both His hands are extended; He spends however He wills. And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. And We have cast among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection. Every time they (the jews) kindled the fire of war [against you], Allah extinguished it. And they strive throughout the land [causing] corruption, and Allah does not like corrupters. some islamic knowledge for you to understand the current situation /hopes not to be banned to the bone again for clarifing situation with islamic knowledge... The Mosaic covenant was declared by all the OT prophets to be anulled. The Abrahamic covenant would stand however..through King David to Jesus Christ.. to the born again nation of the real Israel...the church of the first born son of God..the new Jerusalem. Yet once again, Led by liars like Hagee, Lindsay, and Missler.. these modern "lost sheep of Israel" sell their birthright as Esau did. They join the bloodthirsty anti Christ carnal Israel..to willfully..even gleefully..kill and slaughter others. Of course, it uses America's weapons and America's children. Christians who will not wake up to these truths will join the beast who is mystery Babylon on judgement day. |
