For the past 3 days our golden retriever is crazy. She's normally a couch potato. She's going to the door and wanting to go out every 3 hours, walking back and forth from me to my husband... We just don't get it. She seems calm right now, but it's 10 am in MD.

Scratching our heads (no pun intended) wondering...

Wherever you go,there you are.

My cat is fine today, but there were 4 buzzards and some crows in the back yard. I didn't see a dead animal and they were there for an hour in the same corner. I wonder if it was a bad omen.

My CAT was a bit odd last night... I went downstairs and turned the lights on. He came up to me slowly then ran away as fast as possible. Then I went over to him and he looked like he wanted me to pet him then ran away again as fast as possible. He isn't normally like this.

Re: Post here if your animals acting strange today
The dog has been acting very to himself lately, which is odd as he's the hyper/dopey type of dog usually.

Cat's have not been as vocal either. My entire household has been talking about it all night actually haha.

Re: Post here if your animals acting strange today
My cat was meowing repeatedly for a couple of minutes or so and must have been being extra clingy because my mom told her to go away. Only other times shes done that are when she wants her food and right before she had her first random psychotic episode, where she suddenly started screaming, growling and attacking anything that gets near her. And shes never anything like that except for a few isolated incidents where she went suddenly psycho. Though thankfully, no psycho episode today.

Re: Post here if your animals acting strange today
Interesting...Just saw this thread and the 14th seems right to me when my cats started acting differently. I even remarked on it to my daughter....One cat,is older and a rescue from the (in)Humane Society. never much liked to be picked up or petted but suddenly she's all over me! I've had her for YEARS and until a few days ago,she never ONCE sat on my lap! Now she's right up against me or ON me all the time, even when I'm on the computer! Very strange!
My younger cat is/was also very independent but now is sitting by the computer trying to nuzzle me,head-butting me,'kissing' me...So odd.
I almost started a thread about it,it is that strange, but there've been so many through the years that never amounted to anything,I would have felt foolish. But,with all that's going on in the world now....who knows???
