Re: IRS Wants Me to Pay $4,730 a Month. What should I tell them?
another thing....you should STOP TALKING to them....whatever you are going to do, you need to rely on yourself and professionals advice that YOU obtain.

The lady you are talking to is not your friend..she has no intention, no matter how kind she may sound, in doing anything other than maximizing their return. Her SOLE purpose is in getting you to disclose information to HER, the debt collector.

Stay away from the "pennies on the dollar" scams in settling your IRS claims.

Depending on where you live a good tax ATTORNEY will resolve this for about $5 or $6k in fees......

When I say "Resolve" I mean work out a real agreement that benefits you the most.

The problem it sounds as if you face though is income. If they are demanding that much it sounds as if you are a high wage earner...not a good place to be in with them in dealing with back taxes.....good luck

don't talk to her

get a tax attorney

do not deal with them by yourself
 Quoting: ^TrInItY^

Trin is right, they're like talking to the police, always better to do that through an intemdiary, a tax accountant, or a tax attorney is your best bet...

It will probably save you money over the long run...

I owe 250,000.00 in back taxes.

I got a lawyer and they worked out a payment plan of 2,000 per mo for the rest of my life. But ironically, after a tax return becomes 10 years old the IRS has to drop it from their system, they cannot collect on taxes over 10 years old!

so over time these taxes will expire.

Get a tax lawyer is my recommendation.

good luck !

Re: IRS Wants Me to Pay $4,730 a Month. What should I tell them?
I have an idea....

SINCE there was NO LAW justifying the 'IRS's creation or existence, and since NOT ONE STATE ever ratified the IRS...

TELL THEM TO SHOVE IT UP THEIR ASS. Remove your money from the banks and stock up on silver.

At footnote 23 in the case of Chrysler Corp. v. Brown, 441 U.S. 281 (1979), the U.S. Supreme Court admitted that no organic Act for the IRS could be found, after they searched for such an Act all the way back to the Civil War, which ended in the year 1865 A.D. The Guarantee Clause in the U.S. Constitution guarantees the Rule of Law to all Americans (we are to be governed by Law and not by arbitrary bureaucrats). See Article IV, Section 4. Since there was no organic Act creating it, IRS is not a lawful organization.
Source: [link to www.supremelaw.org]

The IRS is NOT a federal institution. It is a CORPORATE institution located in the CAYMAN ISLANDS designed for the American Public to pay the INTEREST to the Banksters behind the Federal Reserve.

When you 'pay taxes'....you are NOT funding the government, you are simply paying the interest on the LOAN given to the government by the FED banksters.

The entire IRS is a scam and UNLAWFUL institution. There was NO law creating the IRS, then ANY law that says you HAVE to pay taxes is therefore ILLEGAL.

SPREAD THE MESSAGE. STOP FEEDING THE SYSTEM.

so, you withheld your taxes for years, and now you're claiming that somehow you are "a successful businessman"?? you're a tax cheat. they could be tossing your ass in jail, and selling off ALL your assets. going bankrupt won't do you any good, the court will toss it. Here is the deal with these 'ANONYMOUS' postings and slanderous posting about me on the internet. Yes, I have went to jail and prison for growing and selling marijuana and also a battery case that WAS NOT MY WIFE and all these pictures etc are lies and bogus.

These 'ANONYMOUS' postings with lies and untruths have been posted by loan modification scams companies and mortgage criminals who I have personally went after over the last 5 years while running my forum at www.LoanSafe.org/forum in my attempts to help protect struggling homeowners from becoming victims of these scams.

In doing so, I have become a target of these scammers who post anonymously in weak attempts to destroy my business or reputation. Also, you will NOT find 1 Better Business Bureau complaint, police or actual real complaints about my business anywhere other than a few 'ANONYMOUS' postings on 'ANONYMOUS' websites. The facts are anyone can say whatever they want and people will either choose to believe it or not. In the end, I don't care because the people who believe 'ANONYMOUS' postings from 'ANONYMOUS' websites are ignorant humans who I do not wish to associate with or do business with.

Watch the deflection.

Quick to call others "scammers", quick to call himself "successful".

Quick to post silly pictures and cast aspersions on others while ennobling himself.

Quite the knight in white armor: "my attempts to help protect struggling homeowners from becoming victims" ?

You're not a realtor, not a banker, not an attorney.

Many have called you a scammer and a con man in print. You are undeniably a convicted felon.

And yet you are a "success", and quick to provide us links to your "successful" business?

In my attempts to make things right in my life by being on the up and up with my Shepherds (AKA the US Federal Government), I have been paying my current taxes and also have filed all my previous missed tax returns.

Fast forward to now. A short little chubby IRS agent lady came to my door saying she was just in the neighborhood which I know was a big fat lie. In any event, she has been on my wife and I like white on rice and wants my wife and I to pay the IRS 50% of our income which is $4,730 a Month to pay our back taxes.

I have no problem making payments, but basically this bitch wants my family and I to suffer and live like in poverty until they are paid. Of course I AM not liking her, her proposal or any of it and this goes along the lines of Socialism where our country is at now.

Punish success (making money and a successful business) and reward laziness and dumbness (no job and live on welfare).

You see, if I was not a success, they wouldn't come after me and in addition, I would not have to pay shit in back taxes because I would be collecting welfare and unemployment. What this tells me is that this is the future of our world and that I better get used to this shit. But in the same breathe, I AM not going to allow the lazy or unintelligent just sit on their ass and collect a check.

With Obama, taxes are going up even more and then we have health care on top of it.

In any event, what would you do if you were me and the IRS wanted 50% of your income to pay our back taxes? Is there a better way to deal with this other than bankruptcy?

So you blame the economy on the "lazy and welfare bums" yet you dodge taxes?

Trust me I know taxes are bullshit! But you are just as much to blame as a welfare rat.

Difference is welfare is max $2,000 per month.
You are pulling in almost 10k a month and not paying tax?

To stay on topic, you should call the IRS and tell them you can easily quit your job and live off the $2,000 per month welfare would provide.

But my guess is you don't enjoy ramen noodles 5 times a week and hamburger helper as your "real meals"

Lawyers work for the courts and government, so why would you want someone like that??

Taking a lawyer tells the judge or "Banker" you are incompetent to stand trial on your own so let the raping commence. Btw, IRS is the corrupt organization for the Federal reserve and all income tax is voluntary.

Sad part is, is that if you have accumulated stuff, they will try and take it from you since it's all on loan to you anyways. Remember even after you win a game of monopoly all the pieces eventually go back in the box.

Ignore her.

Call the IRS collections deprtment yourself and voluntarily set up a $100 per month payment plan.

They are obliged by law to take your offer and cease collection activities as long as you keep up the payments.

Re: IRS Wants Me to Pay $4,730 a Month. What should I tell them?
OK, so you know by now that you need a good tax attorney...

More importantly, DO NOT make any payments until you are advised to by this attorney. Because if you do, they can make a case that you really owe the full amount... if you didn't, you wouldn't made a payment on that amount.

If worse comes to worse just send them $50 a month and then ignore them. That way you can prove to any court you're making a "good faith effort".

MOST IMPORTANTLY, when/if you agree to pay; make sure you're paying the last years off first. If you draw this out long enough the earlier years debt will expire before you get to it. While they may not agree to this in writing, you can simply write on your check which year the payment is for.
Good luck!

I have had to pay 50 percent of my income to the IRS before, owed roughly $32,000. They found it, I didn't think they would. It was my own fault.

It took me 3 years to pay them back.

After that I, and get this... learned my lesson and just paid my taxes lol.

That's a lot of unpaid taxes you have there dude. Did you do that on purpose like me? They will get you every time.

By the way, I'm a broke joke at this moment after my business collapsed a couple summers ago... I owe $977 dollars from a mistake I made filing in 2009. They suspended my passport status, have been to my house and are now threatening me with jail. Just saying, they don't only go after 'successful' people... they go after tax evaders, like me and you lmao.

Good luck, get a lawyer and pay them as fast as possible.
