In 1st John 2:18, he cites the term "anti-christs".
Anti-Christ(s) is a term only applicable to Christians. Non-Christians might be in enmity to YahWeh, Father God, but they aren't anti-Christs.
Only those whose hearts God Has Called can be anti-Christ(s). It is their failure to heed HIS Call and make their surrender which puts them in opposition to what Jesus Enabled and Suffered to Make their way...
Unable to understand this (about yourself)? Such is carnality. Such is your choosing to continue in your own will rather than Submit Unto The Father.
It all comes down to this:
Don't talk of your Love for Christ or offer your pretenses; Prove your Love, take action!
If you cannot take action, you are nothing to God...
