I wonder whether "Doomsday Preppers" is fake

Saw a man in "Doomsday Preppers" yesterday who had built a shelter under his kitchen floor, his "fox hole", hiding the entranc under a few pieces of cardboard. While the whole of the NatGeo viewership could observe it. It's impossible those people aren't aware they are offering everything they should keep for themselves on a silver plate to the TV watching public.

Something I am wondering whether it's genuine. There is no doubt the access to the underground shelter is there, but how can it be kept secret if they allow a television channel to make a TV show out of it...
