Whereas, if you had loved freely, and offered you love as a gift, and received abuse in return, the pain of that abuse would have changed you. It would have taught you deeper awareness. And it would not have hurt your love. And as a result, you would know how to love such a person at a greater distance, without allowing them to hurt you.

Because you would love yourself more, now, as well, and protect yourself more from abuse than you did before.

But you didn't do this. Instead you got sex or money or status, and pain and ignorance and despair, and confusion and rage and bitterness.

Love is tender, but it's not stupid.

Fake love, and it vanishes inside you.

And then you're blind in a jungle of monsters.

My point is, they are really about superficialness more than love and relationships; and ironically, men are more about unconditional love (even though they place a multitude of conditions) and, hypocritical love relationships.

Even if you aren't a Christian, which most New Agers aren't, all you have to do is look at Gods before Judaism. Sure there were male and female Gods but it was always the males who were the top Gods.

All this divine feminine shit is crap made to make women feel good about themselves. It's the same thing as always telling women how much harder lives they have then men.

I thought women wanted to be equal? Why do we always have to tell them how smart they are, how much harder their lives are, how much better they are then men and all this other feel good crap? Are they that insecure?

Pushing for women to act more like men and for men to act more like women isn't the answer, it's a recipe for disaster.

OP, you have proven you're ultra impressionable. Men and women constructed these gender roles to explain away physical differences and to help each other in ways that technology today substitutes. If anything men got carried away with their physical aptitudes and attributed that to some religious and/or patriarchal idea. They have been fooled into thinking they are demigods of some sort. And have suppressed oppressed women as a result, sometimes intentionally and sometimes unintentionally, with each passing generation the belief becomes inherent. This suppression has turned what could be a society of women embracing their strengths, into women who worship men and think they have to rely on base attributes, and contorted ideas by men who thought they were demigods as to how women should be. These women are still in some kind of slumber....as if they really need to dig low to get somewhere with a man.

This goes for men as well who haven't woken up yet and are living the lie. The gender role developed to point of delusion , men THINK they have needs, as if we aren't the same...we aren't that different, you fart i fart. the difference is how we lie to ourselves. keep lying..

When we run into them and clash ...they are what we call douches.
