The 22nd parallel and northward includes more than half of Mexico. It puts the border near Guadalajara and would include all of Baja California.
Frankly I think it would be disasterous since all those Mexicans would immediately apply for welfare or some other assistance, which the lib.s would handout in return for their vote.
The end result is the entire country becoming Mexico, rather than Mexico becoming the US. I would be better to buy off Canada, though not for them.

So I disagree it would be a disaster. It would be a boom for both all involved and the stock market/investors/world suppliers of equipment. No doubt it would spur economic activity off the charts.
