I saw what looked like contrails this morning in Raleigh, but I didn't have time to stick around for the planes to get closer. I wouldn't have been surprised if I'd gone out for the follow up to see the saturation in the sky. I'll check for an update this afternoon.

CaseLogic - actually, the ones I saw yesterday early morning seemed to be dissipating quickly, so I assumed them to be contrails... unlike most of what I've seen around here lately. I didn't get a chance to get back out to check after your pictures were posted, but I'm sure I would have observed what you did just like last time. Oh, and I'm about 5.5 miles S-SW of you. I'll keep you posted next time I catch some, but this rain is probably going to be around for a while.
