No, no and no. A simple google search would have answered that question for you. The only "alignment" is a galactic one.

Also, for the millionth time. No place, anywhere did the mayans say anything about dec 21 2012 being doom of any sort. It is just the start of a new age, new calendar. They did not attribute anything to this. Its Just.... A...... Date......

No. The sun, the earth and the center of the milky way will be in allignment, not al the planets.

no ive checked they dont aline what so ever its all a crock of shit ... the sun how ever does burn the earth and pole shift is coming , ok ...

no when viewed side ways the EARTH will appear in the center of the galaxy... APPEAR is the key word its FAR from the " center " ..... Nothing will happen , we will just start another process toward the so called center all over again...think of it this way ... , take a apple , this will represent earth .... stand 6 ft or in front of a string of lights which represents the " galaxy...and hold the apple eye level , but in line with the lights in the center... thier ya have it . This is what will happen or appear to happen , thats all

Don't think so. I can confirm later with astrolog. But the alignment is on a larger scale as far as I know and, it has something to do with the galactic core and not our planets. Also the ribbon(google) which is a large mass of gamma energy is expected to reach our solar system around that time period.

On 21st December 2012 mercury, venus and saturn lie roughly along a line, the rising sun is also lining up with our milky way center.

HOWEVER, they did beleive these are cycles and destruction leads to another restart. So you're kinda right.

If anything, the main thing they predicted was the return of their "gods"...bolon yokte god of nine strands or whatever.

Actually the Mayans used several calanders and some of them go on to the year 3000. It's only recently that the Western World adopted the 2012 doom thing, usually to peddle new age books and crap.

Except for like, other calenders of theirs that predict future events. Dec 21st 2012 is the end of the world in the same sense that Dec 31st is every other year to us.
