And without the Righteous One we can do nothing. |

That'll bring in about $900k a year to that kick ass state. God really DID bless Texas. the big companies that come here refuse to hire locals for the real positions. i suspect their trying to increase the divide between everyone else and the upper class since there isnt as huge a divide as elsewhere |

They don't fuck around down there. It's legal to shoot someone who merely steps on your property. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26821087 no place is perfect, but to me Texas is pretty close ...and I don't smoke weed, so I guess that doesn't affect me when I lived in Canada I discovered it was illegal to defend yourself against people trying to kill you in your own home pepperspray is as illegal as a machine gun, which I found insane while I was there, this guy was being firebombed by a neighbor, trying to kill him in his sleep with molotov cocktails...the guy merely shot up in the air to scare the wacko off, and HE'S the one in jail so between one extreme and the other, I'll take the strong castle laws. When I was young I didn't understand Texans, I didn't understand why they had such strong opinions...but now I realize they know they have to push back otherwise they'll get run over so here's to pushing back....! otherwise you get THIS shit: Man faces jail after protecting home from masked attackers ....His surveillance cameras caught the attackers lobbing at least six Molotov cocktails at his house and bombing his doghouse, singeing one of his Siberian Huskies. But when Mr. Thomson handed the video footage to Niagara Regional Police, he found himself charged with careless use of a firearm. [link to news.nationalpost.com] No thank you. Few years ago when Texas was making noises about clamping down on the TSA the Feds threatened to cut off all airport funding and not allow any flights to cross the state line. Quoting: Ralph--a house dog Maybe this time Texas will tell them to shove it and just keep an equivalent amount of money from going to DC. Kind of a back door way of seceding, perhaps. Might depend on how much pressure is put on Gov. Goodhair by TPTB and by his campaign contributors and the voters. Exactly. Everything is bigger in Texas, especially the talk. However, i am considering moving there to be closer to Mexico. All this has happened before, and will happen again. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 27765940 11/14/2012 08:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | the truth of the matter is that all these laws that states are getting a little peeved about are actually the result of killing children by abortion. when a state subjects themselves to a power that tells them to kill the innocent then they put themselves under the full control of that entity. freedom starts with righteousness. there is no freedom in wickedness because it makes you it's slave. Righteousness sets people free to do what is just and right. so all the things that are taking place are continued judgment since we refuse to stop the bloodshed in our midst. the only thing at this time that offers any hope of changing anything for the better is for states to stop the killing of children by abortion in their states. and states have the power and responsibility to do that given to them by the Creator. when we don't stop the killing we make Him our Enemy and nothing is going to get better while we make Him our Enemy. |
