Hopefully this bill will pass and the Gov. will sign it. Few years ago when Texas was making noises about clamping down on the TSA the Feds threatened to cut off all airport funding and not allow any flights to cross the state line.

Maybe this time Texas will tell them to shove it and just keep an equivalent amount of money from going to DC.

Kind of a back door way of seceding, perhaps. Might depend on how much pressure is put on Gov. Goodhair by TPTB and by his campaign contributors and the voters.
