i had a friend who at 28 had more gray in his beard than i did at 50

47 and only a hint of gray hair. Completely white beard however (I don't grow it anymore, it ages me).

is it because smoking?

i'm 49 year old lady and i'm allowing my hair to grow in gray. it is about 60% gray.

Thirty six here, no grey hair, but my beard is turning gingerish. Weird combo. Funny thing...my dad was almost completely grey at my age. Not a single grey hair and look like I'm in my early 20's, and I'm white, not Asian :).

Grey hair at a young age is not normal. Maybe it's Bisphenol A or some other endocrine disruptor out there.

I really don't care about the grey, but close to your age, I have hair growing out of my ears and nose like there is no tomorrow. Had to get those nose hair clippers, and I'm in my 30's. Old, old, old...

I always thought it was genetic, but have read that many people have a copper deficiency, which causes loss of pigmentation of the hair. I started getting gray hair in my twenties, but I'm a chick, so I just colored it. My dad had totally gray/silver hair by the time he was in his mid thirties.

39 and I find about 1 grey per week.

And why didn't "the creator" bless us all with wacked out hair colors, weird eye colors, purple skin...etc. I would love a natural blue head.

It's a matter of perspective. Perhaps brown, blonde, red, and black are the whacked out crazy colors...HMMM?

That makes sense, but I want something unique. Nothing out there unique from my perspective. Very rarely will you see something out of the ordinary.
