Even though the higher ups have given up nothing you are a "THUG". Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27758970 Union workers are contracted employees. Say yes or say no to the contract. How can that be that hard. If you have a contract does that make you a "THUG"? I'm Union employee! I consider myself a conservative guy. A gun lover, a lover of my savior. My contract allows for atleast someone to say something when double standards are implemeted because of my race or my gender. I work alot of 16 hour days. My friends work those and holidays. We have a contract to protect the working conditions and the amount of pay we recieve. I've been in manufacturing for 13 years. There's always someone looking to push the limits of myself and my family. My contract helps me to be protected. There's alot of people drinking the Koolaid on Unions and their contracts. Remember the people telling you alot of this stuff they themselves work on a contract. I've read some of Rush Limbaugh's books, but even he has a contract am I right? (no offense Rush luvya!) alot of things about unions are true alot are not. The war against Union employees are just another tool of control. Yes you are a fucking thug ! Say yes or no ? You lying sack of shit. You and I both know if they said no you leeches will try to suck the life out of everything around you through thuggery ! You fuckers will stand in front of the factories, intimidate new "none union" employee's, damage shit and inflate a blow up rat whore. So dont lie and act like an innocent little bitch..............................you bitch ! What a lyin little motha fucka you are ! Acting like the little innocent princess !! Sorry Let me not forget! Yes! you should expect that I'm an American don't fuck with my livelyhood! |

Here is a prime example of the power of the union and this president over Corporate America. Our economy is toast. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 989102 Observing rules when posting from outside sources: "BIDDEFORD, Maine — Hostess Brands announced on Wednesday that it will file a motion with a bankruptcy court to liquidate the entire company if striking employees don't return to work by Thursday at 5 p.m. The Bakery, Confectionary, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers Union has been on strike since last Friday." Read more: [link to www.wmtw.com] No. Hostess threatens bankruptcy everytime things don't go their way. They said the same thing a year ago..and again several months before that. Frankly..we'd be better off without them. Their "food" is like consuming toxic waste. |

Long term. Two years in a row the Union Electrical foreman made more than the owners of the company. I'm a non-union engineer and I can tell you flat out myself and the owners of the company were there non-stop for essentially the duration. The Union foreman and his guys, not so much. Then add all the other fees the Union tacks on to the hourly rate. A total scam to enrich the Union hierarchy and pad their Democratic donation coffers. |

Even in bankruptcy it's common for the top few to have a staggering portion of the funds under their command, personally. So, is that the case here? The top 1% is taking a 100% pay-cut by closing the company down, dummy. Jealousy -thats all that it is. "I wanna have what you have - whaaa-waaahhaaaa...." Carshy McCarsh User ID: 27734006 United States 11/14/2012 08:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well that is union Mentality. Quoting: FatalW1shes Duh, uh,,,,well .....uh..... You pay is this or we will just all lose our jobs and not make anything. If I was CEO of Hostess I'd be like fuck ya'll. Fuck Union thugs and fuck your stupid demands. Here is where we need to be to survive. Either you agree to make this amount or we all go down. If the Union won't budge then fuck em. Nobody will work and we can say goodbye to hostess. Its not that the workers will not take a pay cut, its that the company is pocketing their pension pay and has already said they will not be paying pensions-- [link to www.wcsh6.com] We'll probably be saying bye to Twinkies but I am not blaming it all on the Union either... Yes, the union and their demands are why they are where they were. Instead of cutting things back because of the economy, Hostess was made to pay the demands set back years ago when the economy was better and there wasn't a war against obese people. Now their profits have shrunk to the point where they cannot survive nor pay the pensions. Businesses need to be able to breathe with the economy. Unions make it so they have to pay whether the company is profitable or not. Best thing to do is like mentioned above. Close and re-open without a union and put the people that want to work back to work. Which is EXACTLY what should have happened with GM, but the Dickless Wonder intervened and saved his UAW union thug mob from having to pay the price of their selfish, myopic greed. Yes, esp Aspartame You bet those that guzzle diet pop will be diagnosed with Fibro and lupus later on.. and their diabetes getting even worse Read up too on Gulf war syndrome and aspartame. It reads like a bio weapon horror novel. When cases of diet pop were left in the sun, it turned into something else.. They are putting it in all kinds of crap nowadays, poisoning our kids, Found it in some popsicles and I threw the whole package away. |

People have a right to eat what they want. A twinkie every now and then isn't going to hurt anyone. Losing those jobs will hurt a lot of people. What we are going to see over the next 4 years is loss of a lot of the remaining jobs, the ones that haven't already been driven overseas by unions and regulations. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17694439 This can't be sustained for to long ! [/quote Why should carpententers work cheaper than lawyers and engineers? Id rathe see carpenters paid good wages so good intelligent men can afford to be carpenters than skimp on their wages and have carpentry work done by idiots who fall off scaffoldings, endanger each other and do shoddy work. You get what you pay for. Hahahaha. You're fucking kidding right? And a Dr. should be paid as much as a Garbage collector. From each according to his ability, to each according to his need. Seems I heard that somewhere before. The price of something is determined by supply and demand. Wage is the price of labor. In an economy of all doctors and no garbage collectors, when the garbage starts piling up some of the doctors will become garbage collectors. If they don't charge triple their doctors rates they are fools. Real life--UPS drivers used to make more than entry level engineers with four years of college. The reason is really simple. If the packages don't get delivered the world screeches to a halt. We need package delivery. There's always that one dumb engineering student who cries, "No fair! I have a four year degree and can't find a job pays that much!" But the job is right under his nose. He just won't take it. |

It will be a shame to see them go, and a bigger shame to see 18,500 more workers on unemployment. I hope that every union member watches this and remembers that the same thing could happen to them. The unions have become one of the largest drains on the economy, and the Marxist in Chief will probably give millions of tax dollars to the unions to "fix" the problem before a penny of unemployment is spent. Maybe the union members could go to Barry's house for Thankgiving. Quoting: Epic Beard Guy Horse puckey. Its our tip jar service economy that drains the economy. Working people spend where they earn. Big corporations do not. Unions are just workers organizing the same way companies organize. Unions are workers incorporated. People are nostalgic for the fifties when laboring men could support a family on union wages. Mom stayed home. The kids went to college. No one wants to live like we did before organized labor, forced to work sixteen hour days, weekends too, earning enough for a man to feed himself. Wife and kids had to work. People who didn't own the land that produced their food were slaves, only worse than slaves. Plantars paid for their slaves or fed them and raised them. They cared if one dropped dead. Capitalists don't care if you drop dead--they probably have life insurance on you. |
