Regarding the 24 elders; Scripture interprets scripture, always. There is no need to guess at things.
There are only three people(s) or groups who are both kings and priests: The Christ, Melchizadek and the church.
The 24 elders are described in chapters 4 & 5. Scripture interprets scripture. And scripture identifies which of these three the 24 represent.
