In watching coverage of the Betrayus story, everyone seems to talk about adultery/cheating in such a casual tone, saying things like that's how it is today, it happens, blah, blah.
Some reporters are saying what a good man he is and how they wish him and his family well and hope they can heal!
Are you frigging kidding?
Newsflash! A "good man" does not cheat on his wife, he does not compromise his career (and possibly national security) for sex. Does anyone else believe that human sexual instincts have taken on some sort of mutation where most people today have zero restraint and act upon their urges at any cost?
Or is it a typical sheeple mentality? Are these people thinking he's doing it, she's doing it, so I'll do it, too?
It's bad enough that every joe and jane schmoe in the herd does it without restraint, anywhere, anytime, with no conscience . . . but WHEN are hard-working, tax-paying citizens going to rise up and say NO! we DO NOT accept this as being normal or natural or "just what everyone does now" . . . WHEN are people going to say NO! this guy should NOT be in a position of authority, he should not be leading the troops or controlling the CIA or leading this nation . . . WHEN?
How immoral and unethical must this nation become, how far do these unconscionable people have to go in their indecent and perverted behaviors before good people refuse to just shrug it off and let it go and choose instead to band together to demand better?
Or are there not enough "good people" left?
Is there simply no hope for the morals and ethics of America?
