They've been in France longer. Stopping traffic in the streets so they can have their special prayers. Those people are pissed. They had a protest a while back here in the U.S. forget where it was. The muslims were throwing rocks at the people and the police weren't doing anything.

It isn't until the people start getting really pissed that the politicians start doing something. It's all political correctness and flowers until then.

I was in a cab to an airport a couple months ago, the cabbie said, "do you mind if I say my prayers?" , I said "no, go ahead", I was looking out the window, thinking about other stuff, not really paying attention, but occasionally saw his hand doing that weird little twist thing they do" . Then he started doing this rocking back and forth thing with his body, and I was looking at him thinking, is this dude paying enough attention to the road? I mean, it's one thing for me to say it's ok for him to pray, another entirely for him to endanger my life because of it.

I guess I make that point, because that's the way they work. All polite and shit, and then....THEN, it very quickly becomes a huge problem. A blockage on a French Highway that probably started with a simple "May I pray in front of your business please?"
