Well now, why would they do that? I would think if they were doing God's work, they'd want it broadcast far and wide so we could all see how unquestionably righteous they are, yes?

I think this could be a great thread, especially if it can be kept to facts and updates. I like Doorbert's threads but the one that's pinned right now has run away from facts and is a lot of bickering about who's better and who's daddy is gonna kick the other daddy's ass.

that is what i was just thinking. The only explanation is to hide their war crimes, and crimes against humanity, so that they can remain looking like the victim.

Israel poised for ground assault as it calls up 6,500 troops

Israel called up 6,500 reservists today amid signs of an imminent ground assault on Gaza.

Members of the Israeli tank corps were ordered to report to barracks as the army built up ground forces along the Gaza Strip's perimeter.

It came as warplanes pounded the region for the second day and the death toll approached 300 with more than 700 injured.

The Israeli government refused to heed international calls for restraint and vowed to continue until Palestinian militants stopped firing rockets into Israel.

Aircraft attempted to isolate the Gaza Strip by bombing the area where dozens of smuggler tunnels have been dug under the border into Egypt.

But as the Palestinian death toll in Operation Cast Lead rose, there were no signs militants were stopping their rocket attacks on Israel.

One missile reached as far as the centre of the port city of Ashdod – increasing the number Israelis living in range of rocket strike by tens of thousands.

Calls from the United Nations Security Council, the European Union and the Pope all went unheeded as Israel mobilised reservists for a possible ground incursion into Gaza.

An Israeli official said: "The cabinet has approved the drafting of thousands of reserve soldiers. These include combat units and home front units."

This is because people can't look past their noses when it comes to stuff like this that is so polarized. It's all 'damn Jews' or 'Stinking Muslims' instead of seeing that this is a BAD situation that can quickly go sour for the whole world. Not to mention all the suffering that is happening to people, regardless of what their religious affiliations are or the color of thier skin. People tend to forget that as humans we all bleed red blood.

I have my own opinions on the whole issue but the important thing here is getting facts and events across to people. And I think your comment is very well said.

I just love it how Isreal is digging it's own grave....country's that are just salivating to eat/destroy them include: China, Russia, Iran, Egypt AND USA (Barak! the muslim terrorist Obama)....hehehehehe, keep up the good work Benji.

There is so much pain , death and destruction involved with religion. It is so terribly gutwrenching and heartbreaking that so many are suffering. I mean 300 dead and 700 injured...and things have barely begun by the sounds.

They are effectively all trapped. I know that rockets are being fired in to Israel...but it is just so different, to trapping an entire population in one area like a prison and then bombing the shit out of man , woman and child. Yes there are astrocious acts being commited on both sidesand much propaganda...but there is also truth and the truth is lots of dead innocent civilians.

Sadly this is what makes up the human race..always has and always will. Until the End.
