"He is supposed to come from a foreign land - Could not Hawaii be considered foreign to the continental US, especially when you consider the difference in culture & beliefs? Besides even if you can't consider it a foreign land, his father came from a foreign land which ultimately means his bloodlines are from a foreign land.
