Much better use of the money than putting it down the rabbit hole of endless entitlements. Last Edited by Bluebird on 11/14/2012 10:35 PM One of the most important aspects of conspiracy theories is being able to discern when there isn't one. Oh yeah, like you'd understand anyway. You are living in a libtard, democratic insane economic model that will fail miserably. Just give it time. OH Well- I suggest diverting money earmarked for section 8 housing and ebt cards to unemployment benefits. ![]() |

If so, then we are beyond fucked. |
Desert Fox![]() Forum Moderator User ID: 8786935 11/14/2012 11:09 PM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | seriously though Quoting: ^TrInItY^ unemployment encourages people NOT to work I know someone in my family who was on it for the entire 99 week maximum term.. they were getting something like $400 every 2 weeks and they REFUSED to go apply for a job they could actually GET because unemployment forces you to prove you've at least applied for some jobs this person would apply for 150k a year jobs they were not qualified for over and over and over... of course they never got hired.. I asked them why they didn't just go get a $15 an hour job they KNOW they could get and they said they didn't want to work a shit job I was like FUCK it would be at least TWICE what you're getting now from unemployment but they preferred to scrape by on unemployment and NOT work... When the unemployment ran out guess who they turned to for money? ME I helped them for awhile but I've since cut them the fuck off.. now? This same person is applying for those $15 an hour jobs :) Those with that mind set, are now the ones who elect presidents. ![]() |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 1535596 11/14/2012 11:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I've been unemployed and collecting benefits since May. I just received the extension. I am putting out at least a dozen or more resumes and applications a week. I have accepted the fact that I will have to settle for underemployment. I was a finance analyst for a large beverage distributor. After 6 months of applying for jobs that would best fit my experience profile, I now am focusing on lessor paid positions for which I am over qualified but I need to work full time and I need a job with benefits. I have applied at McDonalds, JoAnn Fabrics, Safeway and other retailers. I have signed up for free job seminars offered by the Department of Employment Security as well as employment recruiting agencies. After all this I have only gotten one call for an interview since May. Every day wake up thinking this will be the day I get a call. I wait for a call to come from any of these places where I applied and there is nothing. I am going into a deep depression because I am feeling more worthless by the day. I agree there are some people who will sit on unemployment as long as possible but it is not enough to pay the bills so I'm not sure how they are doing it. My point is...there just are not enough jobs out there for those who truly want to work! That's the truth. I am out cruising the job market every day and the jobs aren't there. Oh, but there are plenty of colleges out there that are posing as job opportunities and when you get a response you find out it's a scam to get you to pay for an online school. |

Fancy clothes, tools, uniform, work boots etc. Wear an tear on vehicle, lunch out . OR 99 weeks of unemployment,GLP every day ,sleep in,zero stress= no brainer. Capitalism is pain as the motivator and the possibility of becoming wealthy with hard work. |

Bernanke warming up the printing press as you typed that. Obama would have done it but he has a gold game in the morning. Dude ! Whether your realize it or not you have hit the nail on the head ! If employment is allowed to fester while Benny and the inkjets try and print the worlds banks back into solvency, the production, investment and output would create so much more money from the fractional lending system: that the Dollar would collapse within weeks as they could not export inflation quick enough by importing oil, while crushing our domestic production. That's why there continues to be no growth in the employment market ! When they print the world bank’s back into solvency (along way to go) you will see job growth/ (more than likely never) Why ? 1) With 10K people per day retiring in the U.S. they are selling Bonds, stocks and equities to fund their retirements Who will be there to buy what they sell to support prices ? 2) With 10K people per day retiring in the U.S. they are selling their houses to downsize and consolidate. When they are "trying" to sell who is there to buy and support housing prices ? The economy needs to keep expanding with healthy inflation created by Investment, production and output........right? but, where is the money coming from to support all of these depreciating assets ? answer: A Printing Press Some say so what let the prices fall ! But these are the shallow thinkers called deflationists that have no idea that the anti-deflation backstop is the CDS insurance issued against CDO's that only have 6% or 6 cents for every dollar needed to honor them, when deflation triggers balance sheets into default. It will create the printing of Weimar style paper because the money to honor them (CDS) does not even exist yet ! |
